If I could count correctly, I could rule the world. Not really, but my life would be easier. I started out planning on making 16 blocks for this quilt. I recounted and came up with 17, so I made one more. As I lay them out on my design floor, I realized that I had counted wrong, I really need 18. I hope I have enough scraps left over to make one more tree. I really don’t want to have to buy more fabric. Although I may be able to get by with a charm pack…if I can find one.
Later—
I was able to make one more tree from my scraps. Hooray! Now to get this top together so I can start on my “Gravity” BOM. Pretty solid fabrics and interesting geometric piecing.
I made my two Farmer’s Wife blocks this morning, they were simple and straight forward. I’m 1/3 of the way through these blocks now, they still interest me and I’m having fun with the cute 30’s prints. Who doesn’t like bears and bunnies in pajamas?
Linking up with Judy at Patchwork Times for Design Wall Monday today. Thanks for reading.
Very pretty tree of life blocks. Very exact piecing on your Farmer’s Wife blocks, they look perfect.
