I finished the Simple pleasures top yesterday.  It had been languishing in my cabinet for seven years.  Half done.  I think I lost interest due to the machine applique.  Boring sewing.  Took me about a week of sewing up the remaining blocks and finishing the flower applique.  I like it enough to quilt it.  Its twin size, so it wont be on a bed anytime soon, too girly for 3 and 2 doesn’t like flat quilts.  

Thinking of making a hat and mitts for 1’s GF.  Oh yeah, I think she’s Jewish, maybe for a going away present.  

Want to work on Turkey in the Straw today.  May, may ride the horse.
